- Participated in the operation: An IDF delegation, headed by Colonel Hezi Levy, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, built a field hospital of about 100 beds near the Kosovo border. The delegation of some 60 personnel included internists, pediatricians, infectious disease specialists, orthopedists, gynecologists, paramedics, nurses, medics, and X-ray technicians. The hospital also housed a medical lab, a pharmacy and an operating room.
Earthquake in Turkey
- When: August 17, 1999
- What happened: As a result of an earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale and lasting 45 seconds, tens of thousands of buildings collapsed, oil refineries caught fire, and tens of thousands of people were reported missing.
- Participated in the operation: 3 delegations from the National Search and Rescue Unit, and a field hospital that treated some 1200 injured, performed some 40 operations, and attended some 15 births.

Terrorist Attack in Kenya
- When: November 28, 2002
- What happened: As a result of a terrorist attack on the Paradise Hotel, dozens of people sustained injuries, among them 21 Israelis.
- Participated in the operation: An IDF aid delegation headed by the outgoing head of the Home Front Headquarters, Brigadier General Eitan Dangout, medical teams from the Air Force and the Medical Corps, representatives of the Criminal Identification Squad of Israel Police, security personnel, population behavior specialists, and Home Front Command search and rescue forces, representatives of the Foreign Ministry, and additional aid and coordination personnel

Car Bomb Explosion at the Taba Hilton Hotel in the Sinai Desert
- When: October 7, 2004
- What happened: Close to 9:45 pm, a car bomb exploded at the entrance of the Taba Hilton Hotel in the Sinai, where many Israelis were vacationing. From the impact of the blast, the western part of the 10-story hotel structure collapsed, and many guests were trapped in the rubble. Some two hours later, two simultaneous explosions were set off in the Ras Shitan area in the Sinai, where there were also many Israeli vacationers.
