The National College for Resilience

Full information about training programs and courses for preparing for emergencies for holders of positions in the civilian realm

The National College for Israeli Resilience is a multidisciplinary training center for training holders of positions in the civilian realm in order to improve the operational effectiveness of the civilian front in various emergencies.

In the framework of the College’s founding, in 2018, various training bodies were unified under it: training staff at local authorities, educational staff at complexes for training authorities with Homefront Command simulations, emergency training staff (the Center for Resilience), light rescue coaching staff (SA’AR and Grade 10 students), training staff at Homefront Command HQ, and many staff members from the Professional Training Commands of the Front Commanders.

In this way, local authorities, representatives of government ministries and dedicated authorities, staff at Homefront Command HQ, and emergency and rescue organizations all meet under one roof for training.

The College holds courses on a dedicated training campus as well as training programs at the operational centers of authorities or at the training simulation facility of the Homefront Command, in accordance with the request of the training body.

The College focuses on the values of partnership, relevance, and professionalism.

Training programs at authorities are held in accordance with the authorities’ training cycles and a graph which is created each year in coordination with each authority. These training programs are built at differing intensities and adjusted personally by each trainer.

HQ training sessions are also held in accordance with training cycles and are adjusted for the HQ’s fitness.

The College is working on developing new courses and additional content, in accordance with the needs arising in the field.
