Gathering and Prayers

Prayers can be held with up to 10 people indoors and up to 20 people outdoors. Any structure with 3 walls or more and a roof, will be considered as an indoors space.

Prayer Houses - Prayers can be held according to the gathering restriction.

 

Prayer houses that operate according to the Green Pass 
Up to 50% of the allowable occupancy depending on the number of permanent seats. If there are no permanent seats, the number of people in the place will be per person per 7 square meters, up to 300 people indoors or up to 500 people outdoors.

 

In order to act in accordance with the green pass, the holder or operator of the prayer house must submit to the local municipality a request to operate the prayer house as well as a declaration of compliance with the provisions of the regulations, stating his name, ways to contact him and the number allowed. The local municipality will send a confirmation of the submission of the application and will publish on the municipality’s website or in another way the prayer houses that sent them a permit. The approval of the local municipality must be placed in a prominent place at the entrance to the house of prayer, as well as a sign regarding the obligation to present a "green pass" permit as a condition for entering the place, in Hebrew, English and Arabic. Only those who present a green pass with an ID card before entering should be allowed to enter the place. The prayers will be held in a sitting position, with in an empty seat between people who do not live together, while maintaining the rules of hygiene, disinfection and cleaning, and without serving food.

Guidelines for those traveling abroad

All those wishing to leave Israel are required to meet the criteria set forth in this link , and to complete an application form to the Exceptions Committee in this link.

 

It is possible to leave Israel in one of the following cases only:

 

1. A person who is not an Israeli citizen and is not a permanent resident - subject to the presentation of a statement that the person is not an Israeli citizen and is not a permanent resident.

 

2. A person whose permanent residence is abroad - in a message only to the Exceptions Committee, submitting documents, and presenting a proof that he notified the committee.

 

3. A crew member in an air vessel, departing Israel as part of his job, holding a crew member ID. 

 

4. A person who obtained authorization from the Exceptions Committee for one of the following needs:

 • Receiving essential medical care that does not suffer a postponement to a person, or another person dependent on them;

• Attending the funeral of a first-degree relative;

 • Assistance to a first-degree relative who is in distress, and who is unable to get help from another person who is in the same country;

 • Reaching a legal proceeding for a person who is a party to a lawsuit, or is required to participate in it, provided that it is not possible to participate remotely;

 • For a vital purpose related to Israel's foreign relations or national security - with the authorization of the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, or the Prime Minister's Office, as the case may be.

 • Professional athlete and escort for participation in the competition - with the authorization of the Ministry of Culture and Sports;

• For a humanitarian purpose or other personal special need that requires departing Israel.

 

Conditions to departing Israel

In order to depart Israel, you need to present the following documents in the border crossing:

• Authorization from the Exceptions Committee to leave Israel, or reference to the on reporting to the Exceptions Committee and documents indicating departure from Israel to a permanent place of residence, or a statement that the passenger is not an Israeli citizen and is not a permanent resident of Israel.

• All those leaving Israel that spent more than 72 hours in Israel, except those with a recovery certificate or vaccination certificate, are required to present a negative Corona test result, which was performed during the 72 hours before leaving Israel.

 

In addition, the following conditions must be met:
• The passenger is not ill.

 

• In the 14 days prior to the flight, the passenger had no symptoms (except for those who received a negative result on a corona test).

 

• The passenger has not been in close contact with a verified patient during the last 14 days. anyone who has been in contact with a verified patient can board a flight after completing 10 days of quarantine and receiving a negative result in two corona tests performed at least 24 hours apart and performing the second test on the 9th day of quarantine.

 

• The passenger did not stay in the same place of residence with a person who must be quarantined, and if he stayed - he drove according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health for home quarantine

 

* Please note: it is important to check with the destination country, their entry policy - whether it allows tourists to enter, and whether it requires quarantine or a corona test. This information can be checked with the State Embassy in Israel, the travel agent, the tourism company or the Ministry of Health of the destination country. Guidelines for those entering Israel

All those wishing to enter Israel from any border crossing are required to meet the criteria set forth in this link, and to complete an application form to the Exceptions Committee at this link. This is with the exception of a crew member in an aircraft, who enters Israel as part of his job and holds a crew member's certificate.

 

You can enter Israel through Ben Gurion Airport or a maritime border crossing.
Land entry into Israel is allowed only through the Jordan Crossing border crossing and only with the authorization of the Exceptions Committee for those who have left for Jordan and want to return to their permanent residence in Israel at fixed and defined dates to be determined by the committee.

• For a vital purpose related to Israel's foreign relations or national security - with the authorization of the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, or the Prime Minister's Office, as the case may be;
• Professional athlete and their escort for participation in the competition - with the authorization of the Ministry of Culture and Sports;
• For a humanitarian or special personal need.
